I ran away to New Orleans for the weekend. It was impromptu and very much a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants experience. I stayed in the French Quarter, ventured out and really made the effort to just talk to complete strangers. Ask them where they’re from, what plans they had that day and thank them for their time.
